University of NSW Aspire visit Coonabarabran High School

On November 28th and 29th, Coonabarabran High School students from years 7, 8, 9 and 11 were visited by the University of New South Wales program, ASPIRE.

This educational outreach program delivers age appropriate workshops for students, and currently works with 27 regional partner schools across New South Wales. These workshops aim to develop students’ awareness of the range of future jobs available, as well as what university is. Activities for students focused on the areas of communications, business, engineering, and design. The program was an absolute success. Coonabarabran High School has been fortunate to share a longstanding relationship with the ASPIRE team, who continue to motivate and inspire students year after year. The students are to be commended on their positive engagement and excellent behaviour. Thank you to those who participated and made the experience so worthwhile.
