“Wuthering Heights” Theatre Excursion

At the end of last term, a group of eighteen Year 11 students and teachers travelled to Dubbo for an evening performance of “Wuthering Heights”.  This Emily Bronte novel has been adapted for the stage by Shake and Stir Theatre Company, who previously performed “1984” and “Animal Farm”.  Featuring a breathtaking design and stellar cast, the audience was totally immersed in this classic story.

Thank you to Mr Johnston for being our Coach Captain for the evening.  During dinner at the Dubbo RSL, there was great excitement amongst the students as several times they thought Mrs Macintosh was going to win a car!  Sadly, that was not to be.

Also attending the theatre was a former CHS English and History teacher, Julee Hunt, who is now teaching at Dubbo Distance Education.
