Year 12 English student attend Shoe-Horn Sonata in Orange
On Friday 26 May, Year 12 Standard English and English Studies attended the performance of their HSC play The Shoe-Horn Sonata by John Misto in Orange.
It was an early start to a cold Friday morning, but the students made it easy by arriving on time and ready to go. We arrived early in Orange and allowed students time at a local shopping centre, where they were praised for being well-mannered and respectful young adults.
With a fabulous vantage point students thoroughly enjoyed the performance and gained a lot from seeing the play live. This opportunity will be of great assistance in their upcoming assessment task on Friday 2 June.
Overall it was a fabulous day, enjoyed by staff and students. On behalf of Year 12 and the other teachers involved I would like to thank Mrs. Michelle Birrell for organising the excursion and making it such a great day. Thank you to all staff in attendance and of course our wonderful students.
