Australian Youth Aerospace Forum (AYAF) 2018

Whilst most students will be keen to take a well-deserved break during the upcoming holidays, one Coonabarabran High School student will spend a week pursuing his passion of all things aeronautical at the Australian Youth Aerospace Forum in Brisbane from 9-13 July.

Angus Lambert (Year 11) was delighted to receive word of his successful application to the AYAF – a five day interactive conference designed to showcase the aerospace industry to Year 11 and 12 students across Australia.

The aim of the program is to provide a platform for students to connect with like-minded peers and gain a clearer understanding of the pathways available to them after high school.

Students will have exclusive access to aerospace industries and learn about opportunities in aerospace engineering, aerospace trades, military opportunities and pilot training.

We wish Angus all the best for the program, and look forward to hearing about it upon his return.
