Thanks to all parents who have provided feedback around what they consider important, concerning the wellbeing of their children, at the Year 7 Introductory BBQ and Social,  at the BBQ for Indigenous families and through the P&C.  In addition, the new Friday morning lessons for students, based around effective learning and positive behaviours, is being well received by students in tutor groups. Students from Years 7-12 have been placed in each roll call group according to their House colours and this is encouraging connections between students in all Stages at school.

Coonabarabran High School is becoming a ‘PBL school’.  PBL stands for Positive Behaviour for Learning and is a gradual process whereby expectations created and developed as a result of student, parent/carer and staff consultation will become the foundation for successful learning for all through explicit instruction.

Our CHS Purpose Statement is:

To be a vibrant community of learners where every member is valued and every lesson counts.
