Coonabarabran High School once again showed their brilliant artistic talent with many entries going into the Coonabarabran Show Art Section, as you can see by the large, bright display. DLUX Media Arts is an organisation that enabled Annie McKinnon to make a long awaited return to our school to facilitate a series of workshops with the goal of teaching students to conceptualise, design and create a thinking machine. The public presentation of the students’ creation took place at the Dubbo Sustainable City Expo and Science Festival on Saturday. The students displayed their working model and explained its function to many people attending the expo. We hope to have Annie back to continue to develop our students design and computer coding skills.
